ezCarve: Drinkware Engraving, Redefined.
Learn how ezCarve is different from drinkware solutions available in the market. We built ezCarve to solve our (and your) pain of engraving large volumes of drinkware and vertical objects. Click on the questions below to reveal the answers!
Nope. We’ve moved away from the headache of traditional clamps. You just place your drinkware directly on the stage. We provide centering discs that make it a breeze to line everything up perfectly in seconds.
This is where the magic happens. The Orbit uses a unique optical system that dynamically focuses the laser onto the surface in real time. It doesn't slow down the engraving speed at all, so whether you’re working on a standard tumbler or a wine glass with a deep curve, the machine treats it as if it were a flat surface.
It’s actually "adaptive focus". Because of our patent-pending optical system, it dynamically focuses as it works, so you never have to manually adjust the height or "find the focus" like you do with traditional lasers. You just place the glass centered on the stage and you're good to go!
Definitely. The Orbit weighs about 55 lbs—roughly the same as a standard checked suitcase—so one person can usually handle it without much trouble. If you add the wheel accessory, you can easily roll it around a workshop or take it to an event.
Absolutely. One of our favorite features is the "Smart Power" system. It only powers up specific parts of the machine when they’re actually being used, making it incredibly energy-efficient. You can actually run the Orbit off a portable power station (like a Jackery or EcoFlow) if you’re setting up a booth at a fair. Please ensure that the power station can handle at least 700W of power.
Not at all. Unlike traditional lasers where the head has to stay at a fixed distance, our laser emerges perfectly focused from a distance. As long as the handle fits within that 8-inch diameter area, you can leave it exactly where it is and start engraving.

EzCarve machines on the market use CO2 lasers with a 10.6µm wavelength. We use a RF CO2 module specifically because it’s built for the high-volume, high-quality standards required by makers and entrepreneurs.
The ezCarve Orbit is equipped with a 35W RF CO2 laser. We chose this power level because it’s the "sweet spot" for drinkware—it's powerful enough to give you crisp, deep engravings quickly, but refined enough to handle intricate details without burning through delicate materials.
The ezCarve Orbit has a very small footprint—just 1 square foot - and stands 4 feet tall. It’s designed to be floor-standing, so you don't even need to sacrifice any desk or table space to use it.
The ezCarve Orbit features an 8-inch circular stage. Essentially, as long as your item fits within that 8-inch envelope above the stage, you’re good to go.
No chiller required. Because the ezCarve Orbit uses an RF-excited CO2 laser, it’s entirely air-cooled. That’s one less piece of bulky equipment you have to worry about.
For starters we have made the machine user friendly with Lightburn. We will be expanding compatibilities to other software soon.

The company was founded in 2023 by Vikram Agrahar, a robotics and optics engineer who was tired of the hassle of traditional rotary jigs and clamping glassware. He teamed up with Joseph Gaetz to bring the machine to life in early 2025. We’re a team of engineers based in the US, and we handle all our support right from the East Coast.
ezCarve is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA. We are a U.S.-based company, and our machines are built right in the Greater Philadelphia area. Manufacturing at home allows us to provide faster support and ensures that your ezCarve is built to the rigorous standards required by professional makers and entrepreneurs.
Support is never outsourced. When you reach out to ezCarve, you are talking directly to our team here in the United States. Because we engineer and assemble the machines in our Philadelphia-area facility, our support staff has hands-on knowledge of every component. We understand that for a professional maker, downtime isn't an option, so we provide direct, expert assistance to keep your business running.
The idea was born out of pure frustration. Our founder, Vikram Agrahar—a robotics and optics engineer—was tired of the "rotary tax": the wasted time, the clunky jigs, and the constant struggle of clamping glassware into traditional flatbed lasers. In 2023, he set out to build a machine that worked with gravity instead of against it. He teamed up with Joseph Gaetz to bring that vision to life, officially launching the ezCarve Orbit in early 2025 to give makers a faster, more ergonomic way to engrave.
Absolutely. We stand behind our engineering. Every ezCarve Orbit comes with a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Because we manufacture and support our machines right here in the United States, you won't have to wait for overseas shipping or navigate a language barrier if you need a replacement part or technical service. We are committed to ensuring your business stays up and running.
